#love #light

Light in the darkness may be difficult to see. You have to really want to see it. You can focus on the shadows in the picture, or you may embrace the light. Darkness may be dangerous, but I dare say that the light is more extreme. Is it possible for you to love more? If so, you will have to get used to injury. Wounds heal faster when exposed. They are often born in the darkness. Is it possible for you to fear less? If so, you are going to have to get used to falling more. I mean falling in a failing miserably kind of way. Failing in a way that makes you feel like you are nothing. If you compare yourself to others, you’re going to have to give that up. Joy will not manifest itself within you if you do not stop comparing yourself to others. It’s improbable that we will break that habit, but it definitely may be diffused. Do you keep score? Unless you’re playing basketball or some other sport, it’s probably a good idea to stop. If you try to go pound for pound with people or blow by blow against people; there will always be someone bigger, stronger, and faster to knock you down. It’s not the get down that matters though. What matter is….you know what matters 🙂

  1. This has very relevant messages for me. Love is all about being willing to get hurt…and one should not hide from that. Great read.
