Recognize how good things really are :) @KateDuncanDesig

I spend too much time alone. It’s not all that uncommon for people with epilepsy, and frankly there are many that live all locked up in your heart and mind. It’s been a process, but I’m working through it. If anyone else is going through a similar situation, be encouraged! You need not allow people to push you. Yet, if someone offers help, allow them to help you. Be mindful, however, very few people will offer. So, as you get stronger, you will begin to take action. You will become more self-aware. You will find yourself experiencing joy on a regular basis. It’s a quirky thing, joy is. It makes you want to jump, and it creates a sense of longing at the same time. If you find it, never let go.

During the moments between joy and pain, be grateful. If you’re not, you may miss something that takes your breath away.
