Look at those clouds….
I often work with people who have some kind of cognitive brain issue, traumatic injuries, strokes, dementia, and what we used to call mental retardation. Our brains fascinate me, how they work, how they process information, how we perceive things. Learning how to relate and communicate with people who have these issues can be challenging, but it’s a real blessing, a wealth of knowledge about the nature of our brains and human behavior. Also, we are not our brains, there is something more to us. I can not give you a scientific explanation for the existence of our souls, I just know they’re in there. We are creatures in 3 parts, mind, body, and spirit.
It’s funny to me, I can be very smart, but another way of saying that is capable of thinking myself into a great deal of trouble. Relying on my own capacity to reason too much…
